Telugu is the predominant language of the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a Dravidian language. Telugu is one of the official languages of India. It is called "Italian of the East" because all words in Telugu ends with a vowel sound. In Telugu, the verb is conjugated for negation and interrogation, as well as tense. For example:
