Subcomandante Marcos : Subcommandante Marcos

Subcomandante Insurgente Marcos is the self-described spokeperson for the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN), but considered by many one of its main leaders, since he is so prominent a figure.

According to the most reliable accounts, Marcos' real name is Rafael Guillen, and he was a student in Tampico when he began his revolutionary activity.
