Mods

1. (slang for Moderators[?]) people on a Forum[?] who can edit, delete, close or move any thread. Similar to Administrators[?].

2. Add-ons to a PC game, usually (but not always) an FPS. They often extend the storyline of the original game or create a new storyline. Many alter the gameplay. Mods are sometimes released by the creators of the original game, but very often they are created by fans or by other companies.
