Mobile rocket launch system

A mobile rocket launch system (MLRS) use rockets and tactical surface-to-surface missiles for bombardment[?] support. They may be mounted on a tracked, armored chassis or a truck. If armoured, they count as armoured fighting vehicles.

One of the first MLRSs was the Soviet construction most known as the Stalin organ. This system could deliver a large number of unguided missiles for large area bombardment.
