The Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) is a Korean company, principally engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling automobiles.
In 1998, acquired Kia Motors. In 2000, established a strategic alliance with DaimlerChrysler. In 2000, severed its partnership with the Hyundai Business Group. In 2001, Daimler-Hyundai Truck Corporation inaugurated.
